Are we having fun yet?
It's been a happy, chaotic household with two new parents spotting the raccoon-eyed look (getting better with practice) and a mantra of "by the hour, by the day, by the week"!
Myla takes us on a never-ending journey (last count it goes on to 30-40 years on a population-averaged mean) of discovery about her, ourselves and all things that our own parents had been lecturing us (which we refused to listen until now!)... but what's more heartfelt is the poignant appreciation of how fragile life is, how resilient we can be, how time really does pass, and - pause to hold a lingering tear - that with all the challenges and scary moments, this is indeed, as we are finding out and settling into for a fact, the most rewarding experience by far.
Okay, time to sterilise the bottles! Until then, here's another peek into Myla's big milestone, her one-month journey... yes, we all fussed over her that day, she got blinged up, we had a massive vegetarian lunch and she got more pink for her ongoing wardrobe from lovely friends and families around the globe.
