The CIA Files: Kyrgyzstan Wrap-up!

Waiting to board our ride across the border, passport checked for a gazillion times

The fear was about to begin!

Then the fun began...

More passport checks

Dinner time, more fun than edible :P

I was actually really tired from our 22-hour ride extending to the unfolding drama of gun fights breaking off in Osh, trying to smile for camera

Me and granny on the bus goofing around under the blueberry trees, not knowing whether we can enter Osh or where we will stay that night

Mr. Usman's home, hanging out with some tea and big mommas

Family portrait

Finally, after 5 days (and lots of Vodka negotiation to get the price right) we took turns to sit in the booth to head to Bishkek - I got the arvo slot

Some weird Bishkek cafe reads "Color of Her Panties" - who left this book here?!

Laundry, hostel style - thank you Manado for the sarong!

Group photograph before our colossal hike out tomorrow to Arashan

Morning start-off, weather was beautiful

It became chilly but I was just pretending for the camera - pro mah! *bleh*

Getting through the mud and slush after our hot spring dip, heading home for dinner and fire

Final goodbye with Valentin, our Ukrainian friend

Pissed hot, waiting for a ride out from Kochkol

Into my slice of heaven in the jailoo of Song Kul

My friends

Ah the nomad holiday!

Thank you Yurta No.4, you guys rock! (mental note: next time, wear sunnies please Viv, you look squinted!)
